I have spent a great deal of my time recently walking through the neighborhood with my camera.  Taking the same route each day helps me look more

closely at my surroundings.

Before I begin my workday, now at the computer, I take a three mile walk.  I allow enough time to stop along the way in case I see something that beckons to be photographed.  The early morning light has always been my favorite kind of light.  Early morning light can make an ordinary scene become extraordinary in an image.

Here are some of the things I have found during these early morning walks.

The next time you are up and about early in the morning, make sure to observe the magic that the light is creating.
